House uniform is compulsory on Wednesday & Saturday
Boys & Girls : House wise tracksuit, white socks and canvas shoes.
HAIR STYLE
Girls: Girls with long hair must make plaits and with short hair must have bob cut or tie pony tails with white hair bands.
Boys: Hair should be kept evenly short. Mushroom cuts are prohibited. They have to trim their beards. Clean shave is compulsory for all the boys of classes IX-XII.
House System
Class I onwards, students are allocated a House, to which they will belong throughout their school tenure. There are four Houses in the school. The names and mottos of these Houses are as follows:
Niyatham (Orange)
(House of Discipline)
Samantha (Yellow)
(House of Leadership)
Sathvik (Green)
(House of Goodness)
Senthil (Purple)
(House of Intelligence)
Each House is headed by the House Captain, a House Vice-Captain and a number of House Prefects. The House Co ordinator is a member of staff, who is In-charge of each House. Several other teachers are attached to each of the respective Houses to assist the House Co-ordinator. These teachers are called Assistant House Wardens and serve as mentors to the children in their respective group. They are responsible for the students in their respective group and to look after their general well-being, as well as their academics, sports and co-currcular performances.
Inter House Competitions are held in a number of disciplines. Points are awarded to students of each House throughout the year for their individual and collective performance in Academics, Co-curricular Activities, Games and Sports. These points are summed up at the end of the session to decide the Champion House.
